Customers and critics agree that 3D is here to stay! Sony, Samsung and Panasonic all have 3D televisions available this summer. Most include at least one-pair of the "active" glasses, which are required to view the 3D images. Movie studios are hard at work re-mastering hundreds of titles in 3D format. 2010 will be an interesting year in A/V. While LCD and Plasma still dominate the market, LED is becoming more popular, with lower prices and more selection. Panasonic is set to release their new lines of both LCD/LED and Plasma. These will be more energy efficient and boast improved performance. Sony's new line-up of LCD/LED has been on the shelves since February.
Samsung has released a price-list for early 2010 but information on these new models is hard to find - we'll keep you posted. Lastly, Toshiba seems to have assembled a small, but well-rounded series of LCD/LED TVs for the coming year. Almost everything available from Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, and Toshiba is on display in our new showroom - come by and have a look for self. We'd love to see you!
